I returned to the Pearl Shoal Falls for several days before capturing this image on an azure blue sky day. A Toque Macaque looking high and mighty on the Dambulla rock. This species is endemic and can only be found in Sri Lanka. They are widely spread throughout Sri Lanka and commonly seen hanging around ancient temples. As a result they are often nicknamed “temple monkeys”.

ON ASSIGNMENT FOR SINGAPORE WILDLIFE RESERVE Hang on in there little guy! I just love the emotive facial features and antics of the Orangutans! It was so hilarious when I captured this shot, I giggled for a few minutes after that, hehe 😛 Singapore Zoo is the first zoo in the world to feature a free-ranging area for the orang utans.
