In high-resolution file, every single frame is sharp and focused from eye to feather. This crested serpent eagle was being harassed by a crow. BORNEO WILDLIFE SUPERCHARGED WITH NIKON D500 BY C.S.LING I had a really fun time photographing this Little Spiderhunter at the ginger plant next to the place I was staying at. Whenever it was about to fly to the flower, it will make a series of rapid chipping notes, land on the flower, take a few dip into the nectar with it’s long curved bill and within seconds flew off. (Sun was almost behind the trees at 5.30PM) Nikon D500’s new EXPEED 5 image-processing engine, as used in the D5, delivers standard ISO sensitivity from 100 to 51200, expandable down to Lo 1 (ISO 50 equivalent) and up to Hi 5 (ISO 1640000 equivalent). BORNEO WILDLIFE SUPERCHARGED WITH NIKON D500 BY C.S.LING If you look closely, you can clearly see the blood-sucking mosquitoes all around the poor monitor lizard. Especially the one on the left, you can see the mosquito’s proboscis had pierced through the lizard’s skin and the bright red blood coursing through it’s body!
