This is a very laid-back and sleepy fox indeed. It yawned more than a dozen times during the 10-15 minutes that I was photographing it. I am really amazed at the perfect pearly whites that it has, no cavity! πŸ˜€

Ural owls are widely distributed across Eurasia, from Scandinavia to South Korea, Japan and Sakhalin. They have a wingspan of about 130 cm, and rounded heads with no β€œear” tufts. The first photo shows an Ural owlet taking a nap during the day. It takes about a month before the it will be ready to leave the nest. The next photo shows an adult Ural Owl.
