One of the world’s most magnificent bird of prey, the Steller’s Sea-Eagle is the largest of all sea-eagles, and the heaviest known eagle. Its wingspan is approximately 220-245cm! During the harsh winter in Siberia, Russia, they fly south to overwinter in Hokkaido, Japan where they find food, mainly fish.
And now the Steller’s Sea Eagle takes the Number 1 spot on the winner’s podium!!! grin emoticon *applause* The Steller’s are the world’s largest sea eagle and the heaviest known eagle. More reasons to claim that number one spot on the ice! Move over, White-tailed! 😛
